What is it?

PlanIt Dispatch was built for 911 communication centers and PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) operations to simplify the management of personnel schedules and streamline communication throughout. With any 24/7 operation, personnel schedules become complex and difficult to manage efficiently. PlanIt Dispatch is an intuitive web-based system built to make dispatchers’ lives easier. With access from any device, communication is inevitably streamlined throughout.

Maintain Staffing Levels

Administrators can set up minimum staffing rules to ensure the organization is never understaffed. Open shifts automatically appear on the schedule when there is a shortage. Supervisors can easily notify employees of this shortage if they are having trouble finding someone to fill it. They can also fill the shift with anyone they choose.

Additionally, you can keep a fairness list for overtime so you always know who is up next and no employee feels unfairly treated by the hours being awarded. Employees can then submit their overtime hours worked through the system so they either get paid or comp time for the hours.

View Your Schedule the Way You Want It

Need an on-call unit? No problem. Create as many units or groups as needed and set the staffing levels just right for your department.

Maybe you want to list your supervisors separately and show your on-call group on the schedule. Or maybe you want to group employees by shift. Whatever you decide, your employees will be able to see the schedule on their smart devices from wherever they are.

Everyone can see who is out on leave whether they are on vacation, taking a personal day, or out for another reason. Employees can request to trade shifts and will automatically be notified and swapped on the schedule when a supervisor approves it.
